The "graphite electrode" is a product used in electric furnaces that produce H-shaped steel and rebar, reaching a peak temperature of 3000°C. There are two main methods of steelmaking: one is the blast furnace method, which removes impurities from iron ore to produce iron, and the other is the electric furnace method, which melts scrap iron using electricity. This product is used as a cathode in the latter electric furnace method.
